Novice Wrestling Parent Information Sheet
Practices: Practices will begin the week of December 12. Practices will
be held
at the BJSA on either Mon/Wed OR
Tues/Thurs.
starting
at 6:00pm.
Practices
are held upstairs. Space is limited,
parents are
encouraged
to wait in the game room area until practices are complete.
Dual Meets: Dual
Meets are held on Sunday’s at BJSA. The
first dual is
scheduled
for Sunday, January 8th.
Duals begin at 12pm.
Tournaments: All novice wrestlers will compete in
3 novice tournaments.
At these tournaments your
wrestler will be wrestling other
Wrestlers from other clubs and
will have a chance to win
Medals/trophies. Wrestlers are divided by age and weight.
Bellevue Tournament: The
Bellevue Tournament is scheduled for Sat. Jan. 21,
At Bellevue East H.S.
This is one of your wrestlers paid
Tournaments. Parents are expected to volunteer at this
Tournament.
Fundraiser: This year’s fundraiser is a
book of 20 raffle tickets which sell for
$1.00. People that chose to sell additional books
will earn $10
For each additional book sold.

BPS cancel classes due to inclement weather all
