We are making a change with our select baseball program naming scheme; in years past our “A” Team has been known as the Bruins and the “B” Team known as the Braves.

To better align our program with other programs in the area we are changing our team names from Bruins and Braves, to Bruins Purple and Bruins White.  The Bruins Purple will be considered the “A” team and Bruins White the “B” team.

This change gives BJSA a standardization of uniforms across both teams and will allow coaches to move players up and down to fill in gaps as needed.  It also promotes unity between teams as everyone is a now a Bruin.

This change will be reflected on the www.bjsa.net webpage in the coming days.
