The volleyball program is structured in the same manner as all other intramural programs that are conducted at BJSA. Emphasis is on learning the skills of volleyball, having fun and learning sportsmanship.
This program is designed for youth in grades 3rd-8th. BJSA offers a fall and spring program. Registration fee includes game jersey.
2020 Spring/Summer Volleyball Information:
Last weeks announcement by Governor Ricketts has allowed volleyball to begin in the month of June. BJSA is excited to announce that the Spring/Summer Season will soon begin. Below are the specifics for the upcoming season.
Practices: Practices will begin the week of June 8th. Teams will practice twice per week until games begin.
Games: Games will begin on Sat., June 20th. Teams will play between 8-10 matches this season. The season will end on July 25.
Teams: In order to better comply with all of the DHM, BJSA will limit each division (3-4, 5-6, 7-8th grade) to four (4) teams. Approximately 35-40 players per division. This will also help everyone to social distance during your time inside BJSA.
There will be no Opening/Evaluation Night this season. Teams will be divided by grade and years of experience.
Refunds: BJSA understands that this schedule may not work into your summer plans. Therefore BJSA will offer two refund options:
Option 1: Transfer your entire registration fee to the fall program. That season begins in October.
Option 2: Request a refund. There will be a $10 processing fee for all refunds.
Deadline: Please contact BJSA by June 1 to request a refund or transfer.
Thanks for your patience!
