The 11U Bruins completed their first tournament of 2015 in style by taking the championship on Sunday at Dill Field in Omaha.

The Bruins finished pool play on Saturday by going 2-0 on a cold a rainy day with less than ideal field conditions; with wins against Millard Mavericks 6-2 and BV SWAT Wildcats 11-3.

Bracket play on Sunday was highlighted by a 5 run walk off win in the bottom of the 6th against the BV SWAT Wildcats 9-8.

In the Championship game the Bruins defeated the Westside Jr. Warriors 12-6 to win the Millard 2015 Spring Shootout.

The Bruins also had the best scoring average of 9.5 runs a game, as well as the best run differential of 4.8.
